No matter how well the schools educate our kids, they still need to hear about values and sexuality from us.” “Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts’s program “Let’s Be Honest” is an interactive presentation designed to help prepare parents and other trusted caregivers in creating an environment of trust and comfort to talk with their children about relationships and sexuality. Positive communication between parents and children helps establish family and individual values, enabling young people to make healthier and better-informed decisions related to sexuality. By providing parents with useful skills, information, and resources this lively, refreshingly direct program can empower parents to feel competent and successful in their role as the primary sexuality educator of their children.”
